Went down to Brewer around 11:30 today for a solo 36 holes. Started with Blue today, since the park was relatively quiet for once, and thought I might have a harder time getting in that one later in the day as the crowds showed up. Started out like gangbusters tying my personal best of four under par. A lot of new plastic in the bag today, and gave everybody lots of flight time to try out new approaches and techniques. Moved on to Red after that, and had one of my worst nines of the day with 11 over par, and a lot of wayward drives (real long, but in completely the wrong direction much of the time). Settled down a bit once I got to White, and actually had a four on the first hole (rare for me), but then cancelled it out with a 5 on the next one. A few birdies on White helped cancel out the double bogeys and ended up with a reasonable 4 over, and I also discovered that the Red Flash that I've been having trouble with seems to fly beautifully as a sidearm disc, and gave me a beautiful drive on the 7th hole for a birdie. Gold was last, and I was starting to get a little worn out, especially in the legs, but the scores stayed pretty manageable and I had a few decent shots left in the bag, even ending on a birdie on the final hole. Felt much better than the last few times I've gone out. Need to keep up this regimen in preparation for a Ludington trip this coming weekend.
Todays total for 36 was 122 (not a personal best, but not bad either)
